Wessel obtained his Diploma of Photography  in 2008 from the Photography Institute in  Vancouver. His tutor was David Goldman from  David Goldman Photography  in New York. In 2011 he completed the  NYIP’S Complete Course in Digital Photography : Adobe Photoshop for Photographers  from the New York Institute of Photography with Beth Green  as his tutor.
